About

Songs for the distance between who you were and who you’re becoming.

Glass Dove is the Nashville-based project of guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer Josh Benus. The music begins with live performance—guitars, voices, drums—and expands through synths, programming, and detailed arrangement without losing the song at its center.

The 2021 debut Half-Life Wilderness, produced and co-written with Owen Biddle, established the project’s intimate scale and cinematic reach. Since then, Benus has continued Glass Dove with “Weight of the World,” “First Time,” “Social Climber,” “Left on Read,” and “Let a Good Thing Go.” His wider writing catalog includes “Tennessee” by Alicia Blue, featuring Lucinda Williams, John Paul White, and Butch Walker.
